Welcome!

We are the Lifestyle Family:

Kyle, Sonja, Noah & Selah. Our story is long, kinda crazy, with moments of cool, chaotic, and the daily mundane mixed in. It’s too long to just start and finish right here.

Our hope through this brand, podcasts, and posts is that you’ll follow along to hear it. Our goal is to inspire Faith, growth and health through our story.

We get raw and transparent about real stuff. Like anyone, we’ve walked out some hard times. However, years ago in graduate school, God showed me a life where Kyle and I had healed through the hard times, grown separately and together, and were in a position of sharing that journey with others. Whether it be from a stage, or any given platform, I know in my heart, that we are supposed to share our life’s stories and gifts with the world. I suppose if you’re reading this, it then means that time has come. I mean afterall, what good is a light behind closed doors?

Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Mark 16:15-18 “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature…'”

Life

Everyday I go to work, I get to experience Holy Spirit at work healing through my hands, and His words speaking through me in conversations. Doors open each day with patients, that reach way beyond the adjustment. When I get to be part of a patient working through the growing pains and breakthrough to a fresh version of themselves, to a higher degree of using their gifts or strengths, to a place where they’ve released built-up trauma and healed not only their physical, but their spiritual too; that’s the place I want to be.

As a born-again Christian I have surrendered my life to asking Holy Spirit to use me daily. I’ve learned that surrendering myself, means to release who I am, (again daily) and open my vessel up to receive what the Lord has for me to do, that day, in that moment; in each moment. (obviously this is hard to do 24/7; but it’s what I strive for; especially in my work, because that’s where I see the greatest impact in people’s lives).

So how do I carry that outside of the one-at-a-time, adjusting room? How do I take those moments, and create a farther reach, and make a bigger impact? These are some of the thoughts that have helped seed the field for the harvest of this Lifestyle Family brand project.

Where does Kyle come into play? Well, he’s survived death, literally. Some of you reading, will have heard his story, and the rest of you will hear it soon. (or check out podcast episode# ). He didn’t just miraculously come back from drowning and a death time of approximately 3-4 minutes, he came back from being paralyzed. He’s been asked to speak and share his story time and time again. He’s been recruited to volunteer at rehab hospitals to support other people going through what he’s gone through. He inspires youth through his teaching career with his story, and helps guide them through the lessons he’s learned. His voice has influence and through his journey, you will find, it will inspire faith, and hope in your own life.

And as for our kids, well, they’re along for the ride. Noah has had quite the life’s journey for being 12 (at the time of this post), and Selah has had quite the prophetic prayers prayed over her life.
